Senior Liferay DXP Developer
Location: Remote
Position Type: 12-18-Month Contract (Possible extension)
Technical Qualifications
• Liferay 7.4 Mastery: Deep expertise in the latest Liferay DXP 7.4 features, specifically Client Extensions, Remote Apps, and Liferay Objects.
• Modern Best Practices: A strong understanding of why Liferay is moving away from OSGi for customizations and a proven ability to implement "outside-the-core" solutions.
• OSGi Knowledge (Contextual): Strong background in traditional Java/OSGi development, used specifically for legacy analysis and implementing the "alternate fashion" only when strictly necessary for migration.
• React Literacy: Ability to "read" and reverse-engineer React.js applications to extract business and rendering logic for conversion to native CMS assets.
• Frontend Engineering: Expert-level skills in FreeMarker (FTL), HTML5, CSS3/Sass, and modern Vanilla JavaScript.
• Tooling: Proficient with Liferay Workspace, client-extension-yaml configurations, modern CI/CD patterns for remote hosting, Liferay PaaS and SaaS knowledge.
