Job Description We are seeking an experienced Liferay Developer with strong expertise in Liferay DXP 7.x, Java, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing scalable enterprise solutions, developing production-grade applications, and integrating APIs across complex systems. Responsibilities • Design end-to-end enterprise system architectures and API-based solutions. • Develop production-quality applications using Liferay DXP, Java, SQL, and RESTful APIs throughout the full software development lifecycle. • Build and maintain scalable, modular applications using the OSGi framework. • Develop custom Liferay modules, portlets, services, workflows, and integrations. • Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality enterprise solutions. • Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure adherence to best coding practices. • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing application support. Required Skills • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Liferay DXP (7.x) development. • Strong expertise in Java 11/17+. • Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and/or Hibernate. • Strong understanding of OSGi runtime framework, bundle lifecycle, and modular architecture. • Experience designing and developing REST APIs and enterprise integrations. • Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle. • Experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, or Angular. • Experience using Gradle, Maven, Git, and Blade CLI. • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
