Job Title: Developer Job Description This role is for a Development Engineer within the Mechanical Engineering – Design organization, responsible for satellite design. The position focuses on developing and customizing Siemens NX and Teamcenter software solutions to support efficient satellite design workflows. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and modify software solutions integrated with Siemens NX and Teamcenter. • Perform development against NX and Teamcenter APIs, including NX Open standards. • Develop primarily in C# / .NET, targeting .NET 8. • Use Git for version control and collaboration. • Deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions that meet high engineering standards. • Work closely with mechanical design engineers to enable efficient satellite design workflows. Essential Skills • Strong programming experience with C# and .NET (version 8). • Proficiency in using Git for version control. • Proven ability to program against Siemens NX and Teamcenter. • Working knowledge of NX Open APIs and standards. • Ability to deploy custom NX solutions. • Approximately 5+ years of professional experience preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with AWS and/or cloud infrastructure. • Familiarity with building and deploying solutions in AWS environments. • 7 years of experience in CAD software development and customization with a strong focus on Siemens NX. • Extensive experience with NX Open and other relevant programming interfaces. • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, and Python. • Strong understanding of 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and product lifecycle management (PLM) concepts. • Experience integrating CAD systems with enterprise software such as PLM and ERP tools. • Experience with NX2306 and TC14. • Checkmate development experience. • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms. • Experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) using GitHub or other tools. Work Environment This role offers a hybrid work schedule with onsite requirements. There is some flexibility regarding NX experience, as candidates with strong programming skills can learn NX and Teamcenter APIs on the job. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.95/hr.
