Role description
Job Title: Developer Job Description This role is for a Development Engineer within the Mechanical Engineering – Design organization, responsible for satellite design. The position focuses on developing and customizing Siemens NX and Teamcenter software solutions to support efficient satellite design workflows. Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and modify software solutions integrated with Siemens NX and Teamcenter. β€’ Perform development against NX and Teamcenter APIs, including NX Open standards. β€’ Develop primarily in C# / .NET, targeting .NET 8. β€’ Use Git for version control and collaboration. β€’ Deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions that meet high engineering standards. β€’ Work closely with mechanical design engineers to enable efficient satellite design workflows. Essential Skills β€’ Strong programming experience with C# and .NET (version 8). β€’ Proficiency in using Git for version control. β€’ Proven ability to program against Siemens NX and Teamcenter. β€’ Working knowledge of NX Open APIs and standards. β€’ Ability to deploy custom NX solutions. β€’ Approximately 5+ years of professional experience preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications β€’ Experience with AWS and/or cloud infrastructure. β€’ Familiarity with building and deploying solutions in AWS environments. β€’ 7 years of experience in CAD software development and customization with a strong focus on Siemens NX. β€’ Extensive experience with NX Open and other relevant programming interfaces. β€’ Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, and Python. β€’ Strong understanding of 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and product lifecycle management (PLM) concepts. β€’ Experience integrating CAD systems with enterprise software such as PLM and ERP tools. β€’ Experience with NX2306 and TC14. β€’ Checkmate development experience. β€’ Familiarity with cloud computing platforms. β€’ Experience with Software Configuration Management (SCM) using GitHub or other tools. Work Environment This role offers a hybrid work schedule with onsite requirements. There is some flexibility regarding NX experience, as candidates with strong programming skills can learn NX and Teamcenter APIs on the job. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.95/hr.
