Role: Developer – Full Stack Specialist Supporting: Large Financial Services Client Location: McLean, VA (Onsite) Assignment Type: Contract‑to‑Hire Duration: ~3 Months Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Full Stack Developer and Engineering Leader to drive the design, delivery, and evolution of modern, AI‑enabled enterprise platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Drive the technical vision for next‑generation, cloud‑native and AI‑enabled applications • Design, build, and scale robust, secure, and high‑performance distributed systems • Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation • Perform code reviews to ensure clean, efficient, and well‑architected solutions • Lead the adoption of AI‑powered development tools, GenAI solutions, and responsible AI practices • Build reusable platforms and components that accelerate development across teams • Balance innovation, reliability, security, and business priorities in engineering decisions • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences • Guide teams in integrating GenAI and enterprise platforms using API‑based and standardized patterns Qualifications: • 10+ years of hands‑on software development experience • Expertise in Java, .NET, Python, AWS, Microservices, Kubernetes, and Angular (recent versions) • 7–8 years of leadership and people management experience, including mentoring and influencing developers • Strong background in distributed systems, cloud platforms, and data‑driven architectures • Experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and enterprise platforms • Hands‑on experience with AI/ML and GenAI or LLM‑based solutions • Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps/DataOps practices, and modern tooling • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and design thinking skills • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a direct W‑2 employee to our vendors Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $80.00 and $95.73 per hour.
