Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract to Hire with a client in Waltham, MA. Responsible for designing and managing cloud infrastructure and automation using AWS services and IaC tools. Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Developer Job Responsibilities Include • Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.). • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, Git, and AWS CodePipeline. • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation. • Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS). • Monitor system performance and security using tools such as CloudWatch and ELK stack. • Optimize cloud resources for cost efficiency and ensure compliance with security best practices. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 6–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation) and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, AWS CodePipeline) and containerization/orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
