Role description
Job Title: Development Engineer
Job Description
As a Development Engineer within the Mechanical Engineering β Design organization, you will play a pivotal role in satellite design. Your primary responsibility will be to support the design organizationβs software needs by developing and customizing Siemens NX and Teamcenter solutions.
Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and modify software solutions integrated with Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
β’ Perform development against NX and Teamcenter APIs, including NX Open standards and custom NX solutions.
β’ Develop primarily in C#/.NET, targeting .NET 8.
β’ Utilize Git for version control and collaboration.
β’ Deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions that meet the engineering standards.
β’ Collaborate closely with mechanical design engineers to enable efficient satellite design workflows.
Essential Skills
β’ Strong programming experience with C# and .NET (version 8).
β’ Proficiency in using Git for version control.
β’ Proven ability to program against Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
β’ Working knowledge of NX Open APIs and deployment of custom NX solutions.
β’ Ability to meet a high programming standard
β’ Approximately 5+ years of professional experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
β’ Experience with AWS and/or cloud infrastructure.
β’ Familiarity with building and deploying solutions in AWS environments.
β’ 7 years of experience in CAD software development with a focus on Siemens NX.
β’ Extensive experience with NX Open and other relevant programming interfaces.
β’ Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C#, and Python.
β’ Strong understanding of 3D modeling, engineering drawings, and product lifecycle management concepts.
β’ Experience integrating CAD systems with other enterprise software like PLM and ERP.
