Join our team as a Backend Engineer where you'll be at the forefront of developing innovative solutions using cutting-edge Generative AI technologies. Your expertise will contribute to building robust data infrastructure and enhancing tool performance for trend research and design ideation. Responsibilities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend systems supporting Generative AI workflows. • Optimize data infrastructure to improve tool performance for research and ideation. • Work closely with data scientists to develop and fine-tune core components of the Generative AI ecosystem. • Manage storage, indexing, and search components for a multi-modal library of images and documents. • Engage in Agile engineering practices to ensure timely project delivery and continuous improvement. Skills • Proficiency in Python and its ecosystem, with a strong understanding of backend development principles. • Experience with PostgreSQL and Open/Elasticsearch for data management and retrieval. • Solid foundation in current Generative AI techniques and frameworks. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, Agile environment. Preferred Skills • Familiarity with vector databases and their application in AI systems. • Experience in developing applications within containerized environments. • Knowledge of emerging Generative AI patterns and use-cases. • Experience in building programmatic workflows targeting Generative AI APIs or toolchains.
