Role description
I'm currently working with a consulting company working in co-operation with a UK Aircraft manufacturer. They're currently looking for a contract DevOps engineer.
What you'll be doing:
Leading small, less experienced client teams
Supporting collaborative delivery across tech and business stakeholders
Documenting processes and presenting solutions clearly
Working with GenAI, LLMs and data pipelines in a secure, on-prem environment
Required Skillset:
5+ years DevOps experience
Strong communication & presentation skills
Proven leadership in client-facing roles
Team-oriented mindset with mentoring ability
Experience with Azure Cloud services
Familiarity with GenAI and LLMs
Location: Hybrid – London site visits required as needed
Contract Type: 6 months (Possibility for extension)
Start Date: January 2026
Daily rate - £600 - £700 (inside IR35)
Candidates must be eligible for security clearance
