Role description
Role Title: Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer Contract Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension) Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days work from office) Location: London, UK Role Overview We are seeking a Development Operations (DevOps) Engineer to support software development, automation, and process optimization within the ServiceNow and DevOps ecosystem. The role involves integrating change management workflows, ensuring compliance with governance frameworks, and driving operational efficiency through automation. Key Responsibilities • Implement, enhance, and maintain ServiceNow Change Management workflows. • Integrate ServiceNow with existing DevOps pipelines to enable continuous delivery and automation. • Develop automation solutions to streamline software development and deployment processes. • Ensure system stability, governance compliance, and audit readiness across environments. • Collaborate with development, operations, and governance teams to align CI/CD practices with organizational standards. • Participate in software development activities and contribute to ongoing improvement of DevOps capabilities. Required Skills and Experience • Strong experience in DevOps and software development environments. • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow, particularly in Change Management module. • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployment tools. • Knowledge of governance, compliance, and process optimization principles. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setup. Preferred / Good to Have • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification. • Prior experience working on ServiceNow-DevOps integrations. • Exposure to ITIL or other service management frameworks. • • due to nature of the project, we can consider only Permanent Residents without any visa restrictions for this project.
