Job Details Title – Senior DevOps Engineer Location – Atlanta, GA - Hybrid Type: Long term Contract Client Industry – Technology / Digital Transformation Skills Required – AWS/Azure/GCP, CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, DevSecOps, SRE, Monitoring & Logging Tools Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer to enhance and accelerate software delivery capabilities across modern cloud platforms. This role requires close collaboration with Development, QA, Infrastructure, and Security teams to build scalable, secure, and automated CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid deployments and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI. β€’ Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation. β€’ Orchestrate containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS). β€’ Implement and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP. β€’ Automate deployment, scaling, monitoring, and incident response processes. β€’ Integrate DevSecOps practices, including SAST/DAST, secret management, and compliance scanning into pipelines. β€’ Monitor system health and availability using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, Datadog, or New Relic. β€’ Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles such as SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets. β€’ Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize applications for performance and reliability. β€’ Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. β€’ Maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. β€’ 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering roles. β€’ Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go. β€’ Hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP). β€’ Proficiency with CI/CD tools and Git-based version control systems. β€’ Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. β€’ Solid experience implementing Infrastructure as Code. β€’ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ AWS DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps, or CKA/CKAD certifications. β€’ Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, and Zero Trust architecture. β€’ Experience with feature flagging and progressive deployments (Canary/Blue-Green). β€’ Exposure to ChatOps tools (Slack or Microsoft Teams automation). β€’ Familiarity with Chaos Engineering concepts.
