Role description
DevOps Engineer
Initial 6 month contract, £600-£700pd inside IR35, Hybrid (2-3 days pw onsite in London).
• Active SC Clearance is required
• We are currently looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our public sector client on a contract basis. The role will be responsible for streamlining our client's development and deployment pipelines, supporting on automation, infrastructure as code, and improving system reliability.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Automate deployments and monitoring
• Collaborate with developers to improve deployment efficiency
Requirements:
• 2+ years in a DevOps within Public or Defence sectors
• Experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins
• Solid scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS or Azure)
