β’ Enhance system reliability with automated alerting, backups, failover, and disaster recovery configurations.
β’ Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployments, improve build reliability, and troubleshoot environment issues.
β’ Maintain robust security practices including identity management (Azure AD), key vault usage, network security, and compliance checks.
β’ Manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Container Apps).
β’ Support database operations, including automated migrations, connection security, and performance tuning.
β’ Contribute to release management, versioning, and rollback strategies for multiple environments (dev, QA, staging, production).
β’ Document and enforce best practices for system configuration, release procedures, and environment consistency.
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
β’ 3β6 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Systems Engineering.
β’ Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
β’ Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and networking fundamentals.
β’ Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting for automation.
β’ Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
β’ Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
β’ Working knowledge of .NET, Node.js, or React build processes.
β’ Experience managing SQL Server, MySQL, or Cosmos DB in the cloud.
β’ Understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana).
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on uptime, reliability, and automation.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, or AZ-305).
β’ Experience with Zero-downtime deployments and Blue-Green/Canary release strategies.
β’ Familiarity with serverless architectures (Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
β’ Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, or ISO 27001).
β’ Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, or data integration pipelines.
Soft Skills
β’ Excellent collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
β’ Detail-oriented with a mindset for automation and continuous improvement.
β’ Able to work in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple products and deployments.
β’ Strong sense of ownership and accountability for production systems.
