Role description
GitHub Consultant // Contract // £650 // Remote
Seeking a GitHub Consultant to provide expert guidance & hands-on administration of GitHub Enterprise in a complex, large-scale environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary GitHub SME and administrator for enterprise-scale implementations.
• Assess GitHub Enterprise environments and recommend improvements in governance, change control, and security.
• Establish and enforce best practices for repository management, tagging, archival, and organization design.
Required Experience & Skills
• Deep knowledge of GitHub Enterprise administration in large, complex organizations.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Advanced Security and related DevSecOps practices.
The role is remote, although there is a preference for someone who is at least commutable to London should the need to meet arise. Initial scope is 6 months with strong chance of extension.
