Please find the position details below: Job Title: DevOps Engineer with Heavy Github Enterprise Administration experience Location: Westbrook, ME / Remote Duration: Long term Contract with possibility of Conversion Interview: 2 rounds What the Client is Looking For: They want someone who can: • Take ownership of GitHub Enterprise administration and migration. • Write Python automation scripts (possibly using Flask for lightweight web tools). • Use Terraform to manage infrastructure and environment setup. • Communicate clearly with multiple teams (development, operations, security). • Be self-sufficient in a remote setup and experienced in large enterprise environments. Bonus skills like Go or Azure Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) experience suggest integration with identity management or GitHub Enterprise authentication systems. Project Overview: The DevOps Engineer will support an ongoing GitHub Enterprise setup and migration project. likely modernizing or consolidating their source control and CI/CD infrastructure, migrating existing code repositories into a centralized GitHub Enterprise environment. Your work will include: • Administering and configuring GitHub Enterprise (GHE). • Automating processes using Python (and possibly Flask for internal tooling or dashboards). • Using Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC) — probably to provision GitHub resources, runners, or related cloud components. • Collaborating with teams to ensure a smooth migration and integration of repositories. • Communicating across departments to handle migration planning, governance, and automation. This role is both technical (hands-on automation and infrastructure) and collaborative (cross-team coordination and communication).
