DevOps Engineer

Title: DevOps Engineers Location: KCMO • Onsite 4 days a week Duration: 6-month C2H Pay Rate: 65/hr Openings: 2 Must Haves: • 6+ years of experience with DevOps/SRE within AWS cloud environments • Expert in AWS services such as: Lambda, ECS, Aurora, API Gateway, CloudFront, etc • Strong knowledge of Terraform (cloud formation) • Experience with CI/CD such as: GitHub, Jenkins, or similar • Networking knowledge with VPC design, security groups, peering or transit gateway • Experience with observability tools • Good understanding of Agile processes and release management Plusses: • AWS certifications • PCI, SOC2, or HIPAA Day-to-Day: • Insight Global is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to work onsite for one of our clients in the Kansas City area. This person will be responsible for working on a project that supports the company's online payment processing portal. The platform that this person will be responsible for is going to need a lot of governance and security to be put in place so this person should be able to jump into the environment and help determine any gaps to ensure a secure and compliant environment. This person will be joining a team of 6 engineers and will work alongside a cloud architect. The ideal candidate for this role is a well-rounded DevOps engineer with expertise in AWS, hands on with automation, observability, and multi-tenant architecture. This position will require collaboration with the other team members and program managers that follow an agile model, so communication is also a key aspect of this role!
