DevOps Engineer (with Jules Experience)

Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite) Duration: Long-term Contract Work Hours: CST/EST candidates preferred Domain: Banking About the Role We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Jules to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps practices, cloud infrastructure (AWS), automation, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong Java development experience and the ability to collaborate across teams in a dynamic banking environment. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. • Manage and deploy infrastructure using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. • Automate processes using Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripts. • Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch) to support scalable and secure applications. • Support and enhance Java-based applications using frameworks like Spring and Hibernate. • Build and manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes. • Monitor systems using CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or similar tools to ensure reliability and performance. • Collaborate with developers, QA, and infrastructure teams following Agile and DevOps practices. • Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis. Required Skills • Mandatory: Experience working on Jules (please do not apply without this). • Strong Java programming background. • Hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform. • Skilled in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell). • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools. • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools. • Excellent communication, troubleshooting, and team collaboration skills. • Prior experience in the banking domain is a plus.
