DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer (Contract) – AWS / Containerisation £400–£450/day | 6 months | Outside IR35 | Remote (UK-based) Join a fast-growing AI start-up building next-generation analytics solutions that extract meaningful insights from real-world interactions. They’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the containerisation and tenant deployment of their advanced analytics platform in AWS. What you’ll do: • Design and implement containerised, single-tenant AWS deployments (EKS, ECS, Fargate). • Build automated Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation). • Develop CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Bitbucket Pipelines). • Implement observability and monitoring (CloudWatch, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Sentry). • Ensure ISO 27001-aligned, secure environments with IAM least privilege and vulnerability scanning. Tech environment: AWS (IAM, VPC, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, WAF, GuardDuty) Docker | Kubernetes (EKS) | Terraform | AWS CDK | CloudFormation GitHub Actions | GitLab | Bitbucket Pipelines CloudWatch | Prometheus | OpenTelemetry | Sentry PostgreSQL | DynamoDB | MongoDB TypeScript | Python | Bash What you’ll need: • 6+ years’ DevOps experience within AWS production environments. • Proven success containerising complex SaaS platforms. • Strong IaC and CI/CD automation expertise. • Solid grasp of AWS networking, IAM, and security compliance frameworks. • Experience with ISO 27001 or regulated data environments. This is a hands-on contract where you’ll shape and deliver a secure, scalable multi-tenant architecture from the ground up for a rapidly growing AI platform.
