DevOps Engineer

TITLE: Cloud DevOps Engineer LOCATION: Remote (must be within 100 miles of Seattle, WA) ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12 months NOTE: I am not able to work on a C2C basis or provide a visa sponsorship/transfer Responsibilities: • Manage Kubernetes clusters by performing improvements and regular maintenance. • Perform cloud infrastructure operational tasks. • Conduct database administration tasks including migration, telemetry instrumentation, performance monitoring, and cost monitoring. • Handle CI/CD-focused projects that include implementing features for GitOps and software lifecycle tooling and processes. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience. • 3-5 years of experience with Kubernetes. • 3-5 years of experience with AWS. • 3-5 years of experience in Database administration: Postgres, RDS (e.g., Aurora). • 3 years of experience in Python. • Operational experience with cloud-based service infrastructure (DNS, load balancing, ingress, telemetry, logging). Preferred Experience: • Kubernetes configuration, operations, and deployment, including Helm, ArgoCD, and GitOps. • SQL database administration. • Python and Bash scripting. • Ability to report status regularly, request guidance, and drive projects to completion. • Strong organization, communication, and coding skills. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 to $89.55 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
