Role description
DevOps Engineer II – Azure (Remote)
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer II with strong Azure experience to help build, extend, and maintain cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for a large-scale, modern platform.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth, secure, and scalable delivery of software — enabling fast, reliable releases for both clients and internal teams. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with engineers, cloud architects, and delivery teams to drive automation, optimize systems, and implement modern DevOps practices.
What You’ll Do
• Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps (ADO) pipelines for microservices deployments.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) using Helm and GitOps (Flux CD).
• Architect and optimize CI/CD processes for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Implement configuration as code and ensure systems are secure and compliant.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DevOps strategy with business goals.
• Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and improve system performance.
• Stay current with the latest Azure and DevOps tools, technologies, and best practices.
What You’ll Bring
• 3–5+ years of experience in a DevOps or cloud engineering role, ideally Azure-focused.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud, AKS, ADO pipelines, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Flux CD.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure automation, monitoring, and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, DataDog, Application Insights).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and passion for continuous improvement.
Nice to Have
• Experience supporting production environments in enterprise or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with secrets management, cloud security, and compliance best practices.
