Role description
W2 ONLY - NO CORP TO CORP - CONTRACT TO HIRE - NO VISA SPONSOR/TRANSFER - NO 3RD PARTY AGENCY CANDIDATES Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to perform enhancements to existing CI/CD pipeline and to create 2 additional pipelines for automating the deployment API management self-service utilities. The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in Jenkins, Groovy Scripting, uDeploy, and PowerShell scripting. You will be responsible for analyzing the current pipeline design, make recommendations for improvements and to implement the recommendations. Responsibilities: • Analyze existing pipeline used to build and deploy API products and create set of recommendations to align to best practices. • Work with the internal team responsible for DevOps and ensure pipelines are implementing company standards. • Implement new pipelines to package and deploy code that performs API quality checks and allows for developer self-service API deployments in all environments. • Update observability data being sent to Splunk to assist with pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting. Required Skills and Qualifications: • Experience in designing and implementing pipelines using Jenkins and uDeploy. • Experience with Groovy scripting and functions used in Jenkins. • Experience with PowerShell scripting which is used in some stages of the pipeline. • Prior experience with IBM API Connect CLI would be useful, but not required.
