Required Skills & Experience Active TS/SCI with Poly Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience 3-5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Linux Ansible software platform Terraform software JIRA and Confluence Nice to Have Skills & Experience Experience leading or managing an engineering project or team Experience with Packer, Nessus, and Trivy DevSecOps tools Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, mutual Transport Layer Security (mTLS), cert-manager, Harbor, Postgres, and Windows Experience with Shell and Python Scripting Experience working with Government customers Active CompTIA Security+ certification Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Level 3 Ground Systems Engineer to join a large aerospace company in Southern California. The role involves applying modern DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, containerized deployments, and infrastructure as codeβ€”to streamline integration and testing activities. The engineer will be responsible for standing up, configuring, and maintaining secure test environments using cloud-native and virtualized resources. A key focus will be driving continuous improvement through automation, metrics, and lessons learned to enhance efficiency and reliability. Additional responsibilities include automating, developing, monitoring, improving, and troubleshooting across software engineering development, tooling, testing, integration, deployment, configuration processes, and security controls. The candidate will also review, develop, document, and maintain system requirements and traceability, while interfacing with cross-functional teams, senior leadership, and external customers. This position is 5 days a week on-site in Seal Beach, CA.
