Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Boston, MA. Responsibilities β€’ DevOps Engineer will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake, Informatica (IICS), and Airflow β€’ Automate code promotion across environments and integrate testing, linting, and security checks β€’ Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for Snowflake, network, and cloud resources β€’ Ensure configuration consistency and secure connectivity across multi-cloud setups β€’ Implement logging, alerting, and monitoring for workflows, performance, and data quality β€’ Optimize pipeline performance, cost, and concurrency in Snowflake β€’ Manage deployment frameworks for ETL/ELT code, SQL scripts, and metadata β€’ Oversee user access, RBAC, and enforce DevSecOps practices (encryption, secrets management) β€’ As a DevOps Engineer, you will implement audit, compliance, and backup strategies aligned with governance β€’ Troubleshoot orchestration issues and lead incident response during outages β€’ Support testing, deployment, and release management for new workflows Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree or equivalent years in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field β€’ 3-7+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Data Platform Engineering roles β€’ Hands-on experience with: Snowflake (roles, warehouses, performance tuning, cost control); Apache Airflow (DAG orchestration, monitoring, deployment, Informatica (IICS pipeline deployment automation preferred) β€’ Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), especially for Airflow β€’ Strong knowledge of networking concepts and security controls β€’ Deep understanding of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP β€’ Strong CI/CD skills using GitLab, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar β€’ Proficiency with Terraform, Python, and Shell scripting The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
