About the Role FutureSoft Consulting Inc. is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our client’s cloud engineering and automation team. This role is 100% remote within the United States and focuses on automating infrastructure, streamlining CI/CD pipelines, and enhancing system reliability across modern cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions in AWS, Azure, and hybrid ecosystems. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless code integration and deployment. • Automate provisioning and management of cloud resources using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. • Optimize performance, cost, and security across AWS/Azure/GCP environments. • Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK Stack). • Collaborate with developers to integrate DevOps best practices into all stages of the software lifecycle. • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and production environment support. • Contribute to infrastructure reliability, security automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Experience • Strong hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes). • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates). • Experience implementing CI/CD using Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions. • Scripting or automation proficiency with Python, Bash, or PowerShell. • Strong background in Linux system administration, networking, and cloud security principles. • Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote and collaborative Agile environment. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or CKA. • Familiarity with Databricks, Sigma Computing, or Redshift back-end systems. • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, ELK) and cloud cost optimization. • Knowledge of microservices architectures, service mesh, and container security tools.
