DevOps Engineer

EPITEC is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our client's team and lead efforts in building, testing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that support software development, deployment, and release. This role is critical in driving automation, accelerating delivery cycles, and enhancing the reliability and security of our software systems through modern DevOps practices. • • • Only Local Michigan candidates will be Considered • • • • • • Its a W2 role, no C2C/1099 accepted • • • • • • Hybrid - 4 Days office / 1 day Remote in Dearborn ,MI • • • Key Responsibilities: • Champion DevOps methodologies across the software product lifecycle. • Accelerate software releases while ensuring robust security and minimizing release failures. • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, deployment, and feedback. • Evaluate existing systems and processes, identifying and executing improvements. • Leverage enterprise platforms and cloud infrastructure to support DevOps workflows. • Support code releases and deployments across multiple environments (production, testing, sandbox). • Lead initiatives to automate and innovate throughout the software lifecycle. Required Skills: • Proficiency in BigQuery for data analysis and monitoring. • Strong experience with Cloud Infrastructure, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). • Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and DevOps automation practices. Preferred Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience mentoring engineers. • Solid background in software engineering and system design. • Experience with BI, ETL, and data management tools such as Informatica, IBM DataStage, QLIK, or Looker. • Familiarity with REST API development and integration.
