DevOps Engineer - TS/SCI CI Poly with Security Clearance

Piper Companies is hiring a DevOps Engineer with a TS/SCI CI Polygraph for a large technical organization located in Raleigh, NC. The DevOps Engineer (TS/SCI - CI Poly) will be designing, implementing and securing scalable solutions within classified environments. The DevOps Engineer (TS/SCI - CI Poly) role is a long term contract and does require 5 days on site in Reston, VA. Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer(TS/SCI - CI Poly): • Design, implement, and secure scalable system architectures for classified environments • Lead container orchestration using Kubernetes and modern DevSecOps practices • Automate provisioning and configuration via Terraform, Terragrunt, and other IaC tools • Administer and secure AWS environments; integrate cloud-native services securely • Ensure system hardening, patch management, and continuous compliance with NISPOM and ICD guidelines • Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, security, and operations teams Requirements for the DevOps Engineer(TS/SCI - CI Poly): • Active Clearance: TS/SCI with a CI Polygraph • 5+ Years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in classified environments • Expertise in containerization technologies (Deployment, management and security best practices) • Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (terraform terragrunt) for provisioning and management • Hands on experience with AWS for security configurations and service integration • DoD 8570 or DoD 8140 or Security+, CISA, GSEC, CAP, SCNA, SCNP, SSCP, GSLC, GSE Compensation for the DevOps Engineer (TS/SCI - CI Poly): • $140,000 - $180,000 • Full Comprehensive Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental, PTO, Paid Holiday and Sick Leave if Required by Law Keywords: TS/SCI, CI Poly, system architect, U.S. Government, classified environments, NISPOM, ICD, Kubernetes, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, IaC, Terraform, Terragrunt, AWS, cloud administration, cybersecurity compliance, CISSP, Security+, DoD 8570, DoD 8140, Splunk, centralized logging, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, Trellix, Cisco routers, network security, firewall configuration, system patching, system automation, secure architecture design, secure cloud, mission-critical systems, government contracting, U.S. citizenship, security clearance, compliance engineering #ONSITE This job opens for applications on 10/10/2025.
