1. Monitor database health and proactively report issues.
1. Secondary: DevOps Engineer
1. Administer our core infrastructure, including servers (Linux) and cloud platforms
(AWS).
1. Manage internal infrastructure systems (e.g., Kubernetes, CI/CD System, Gitlab,
API Gateway).
1. Harden system security, manage access controls, and ensure compliance with
security best practices and regulations
1. Monitoring & Alerting: maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting
systems to ensure maximum uptime and rapid incident response.
Requirements:
Essential:
● Proven experience (3+ years) in a Database Administration (DBA) role.
● Profound mastery of AWS storage and database services, including deployment,
configuration, and performance tuning for Aurora (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Redis,
ElastiCache, kafka and DocumentDB.
● Strong expertise in Linux system administration.
● Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS).
● Strong background in setting up and using monitoring and logging tools.
● Fluent in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken).
Nice to Have:

ecosystems (Kafka Connect, Logstash, Kibana).
● Experience with scripting for automation (Bash, Python, or Go).
● Familiarity with data privacy regulations.
● Experience in a 24/7 operational environment with on-call duties.
● Proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a strong plus.
