DevOps Engineer

Role Details • Location: Remote (UK) • Contract: 6 months • Rate: £428/day • Working Hours: Monday–Friday (with on-call rotation for 24/7 support) • On-site Requirement: 1 day per month (if required) Key Responsibilities • Implement and support platform build activities, including hardening container images and maintaining secure infrastructure. • Manage and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues for smooth deployments. • Develop and optimize automation scripts using Ansible, Helm, and related tools. • Deploy and manage applications within Kubernetes clusters. • Collaborate with development teams to deliver secure, efficient services. • Monitor, analyze, and resolve platform issues across environments. • Maintain accurate service documentation and conduct peer reviews. • Participate in incident management and on-call support rotation. Ideal Candidate • Holds Active SC Clearance. • Skilled in: • Platform: Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Helm, Git, Debugging, CI/CD • Application: Microservices Architecture, CI/CD pipelines, MongoDB/MySQL or other RDBMS, Security & PKI • Experience supporting high-availability, distributed services.
