Job Description Role: DevOps Technical Business Analyst Location: Hybrid (60% office, 40% remote) – Sheffield Duration: 30/10/2026 Day Rate: £289 Inside IR35 Role Overview We are seeing an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a portfolio of projects by assisting DevOps teams with analysis, planning, data extraction, application builds, testing, migration, and post-live support. The role requires a Technical BA with strong DevOps experience and familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Nexus/Sonatype, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Ansible), and monitoring/logging tools. Key Skills & Experience • 5+ years’ experience in software delivery within banking, finance, or fintech. • Independent, proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a “can-do” attitude. • Strong problem-solving skills, capable of identifying root causes, troubleshooting, and developing effective solutions. • Excellent written and verbal communication, able to build strong working relationships with stakeholders. • Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements. • Skilled in process mapping, analysis, and identifying opportunities for automation and optimization within a DevOps environment. • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and familiar with database concepts for querying and data analysis. • Experience with M&A, integrations, or divestitures is a plus. • Additional language skills, knowledge of IT controls, and large matrix organisation experience are advantageous.
