Our diverse teams bring unique perspectives to help deliver cutting-edge solutions to global clients across both pubalic and private sectors Job Title: DevOps/SRE Engineer Location: Washington, DC/Hybrid β€’ Deployment & Automation: Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline. β€’ Automate infrastructure provisioning utilizing Infrastructure-as- Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. β€’ Monitoring & Observability: Develop dashboards and alerts using AppDynamics, CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or similar tools to ensure systems meet SLOs. β€’ Incident Support: Participate in on-call rotations, triage incidents, and assist in postmortem reviews to identify and remediate root causes. β€’ Documentation & Readiness: Maintain clear documentation on systems, runbooks, deployment processes, and escalation procedures. β€’ Security & Reliability: Assist with secrets management, scanning tools (e.g., AWS ECR, Checkmarx, Github Advanced Security, Synk), and contribute to security gates in pipelines. β€’ Collaboration: Work with application developers, infrastructure engineers, and security teams to deploy and maintain production- ready services. Knowledge of databases: β€’ Knowledge of different database types, such as relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL β€’ Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), along with their strengths and weaknesses. Familiarity with data modeling techniques to design & optimize database structures. β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field β€” or equivalent hands-on experience. β€’ 2+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or infrastructure support roles. β€’ Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS preferred). β€’ Understands core cloud services (e.g., S3, EFS, Kinesis) and basic troubleshooting techniques β€’ Proficiency with Linux-based systems and shell scripting. β€’ Familiarity with IaC (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible) and version control (Git). β€’ Basic understanding of monitoring and alerting systems. β€’ Willingness to participate in incident response and service ownership. β€’ Strong desire to learn and grow in automation, observability, andSRE practices.
