DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA (downtown) up to 4 days per week onsite
Duration: 12 months + extensions (potential contract-to-hire)
Interview Process: Phone screen followed by scenario-based interview

Overview
We are seeking a DevSecOps Application Engineer to play a key role in advancing application security across both cloud and on-prem environments. This individual will design, implement, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines while partnering with cross-functional teams to embed security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone who thrives in building scalable DevSecOps frameworks and driving automation.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for Azure and on-prem environments
β’ Integrate security tools and controls into CI/CD workflows
β’ Develop automation for infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
β’ Collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to implement DevSecOps best practices
β’ Support application deployments using containerization and cloud-native technologies
β’ Monitor application performance and scalability using tools such as Azure Monitor and Application Insights
β’ Implement and manage authentication and security controls (SSO, OAuth, OpenID, etc.)
β’ Contribute to roadmap planning and evaluation of new DevSecOps tools and technologies
β’ Provide guidance on environment provisioning for production and non-production systems
Required Qualifications
β’ 5+ years of hands-on development experience in C#
β’ Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline development
β’ Experience working in Agile development environments
β’ Experience with deployment automation, orchestration, and configuration management
β’ Hands-on experience building and deploying applications in Azure (cloud + on-prem hybrid environments)
β’ Experience with containerization and automated deployment pipelines
β’ Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, scalability, and monitoring
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with application security, penetration testing, or red teaming
β’ Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines
β’ Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) security practices
β’ Familiarity with cloud-native authentication (OAuth, OpenID, SSO)
β’ Experience with service-oriented architecture and distributed systems
β’ Background in building large-scale web applications
Additional Experience
β’ 7+ years of relevant DevOps/DevSecOps experience (10+ years total IT experience preferred)
β’ 2+ years of hands-on experience working in Azure cloud environments
β’ Proven experience implementing DevOps/DevSecOps models and end-to-end automation
β’ Experience evaluating technologies and contributing to IT roadmaps
What Youβll Be Doing Day-to-Day
β’ Building and enhancing CI/CD pipeline automation
β’ Writing code to integrate security tools into pipelines
β’ Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code solutions
β’ Supporting scalable, secure cloud application deployments
The compensation range for this position is $60-100/hr (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
