DevSecOps Engineer with IDP

Role: Devops/ DevSecops Engineer Location: Remote in USA Duration: W2 Contract (Independent Candidate on W2) Lead engineering for Internal Developer Portal (IDP) capabilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and self-service developer experiences aligned to enterprise platform standards. Required Skills & Experience • Backstage (IDP frameworks) • Harness (highly preferred) • Proficiency in React / TypeScript and Python • Strong knowledge of: • Cloud-native architectures • APIs and microservices • CI/CD and DevSecOps practices • Experience leading platform engineering teams • Ability to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes Key Responsibilities • Drive end-to-end delivery of IDP platform capabilities (design → build → deploy → support) • Lead engineering efforts across Backstage/Harness-based platform architecture • Provide technical leadership to onshore/offshore (GCC) engineering teams • Partner with Product Owner, Architects, and KP stakeholders • Ensure alignment with developer experience and platform strategy • Enable adoption of self-service, cloud-native developer workflows • Deliver measurable improvements in developer productivity and platform utilization Thank you Praveen praveen.s@themesoft.com
