DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Herndon, VA (Onsite)

About the Role
We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to help build, automate, secure, and support cloud-native infrastructure and deployment platforms. In this role, you'll collaborate with engineering, platform, and architecture teams to implement scalable, secure, and reliable DevSecOps practices across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitOps practices with ArgoCD.
• Build and manage Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) environments, including namespaces, ingress controllers, and Helm deployments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Implement security best practices across cloud infrastructure, containerized applications, and deployment pipelines.
• Manage AWS cloud services, including EKS, IAM, ECR, RDS Aurora, S3, CloudWatch, WAF, GuardDuty, Cognito, and OpenSearch.
• Configure monitoring, logging, observability, and vulnerability scanning solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment automation, operational efficiency, and platform reliability.
• Manage secrets, identity, and access controls using AWS Secrets Manager, Kubernetes Secrets, Cognito, and Keycloak.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues across multiple environments.
Required Qualifications
• Professional experience with AWS cloud services.
• Hands-on experience managing Kubernetes (Amazon EKS) environments.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience deploying applications using Helm and/or Kustomize.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD.
• Experience working with Docker containers and Amazon ECR.
• Proficiency with Git-based version control systems.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and/or Amazon Aurora.
• Familiarity with security and vulnerability management tools such as SonarQube, Trivy, AWS WAF, and GuardDuty.
• Experience with monitoring and logging platforms, including CloudWatch, OpenSearch, or Prometheus.
• Strong troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Node.js or Nx Monorepo environments.
• Familiarity with Java 17 and Maven.
• Experience with Python and Poetry.
• Knowledge of Redis or Neo4j.
• Experience supporting multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and security best practices in enterprise environments.
