Role description
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a DevSecOps Engineer Position Type: Full Time (Contract) Duration: 12 months Location: Cambridge, MA As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will: β€’ Oversees development, documentation and maintenance of standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software. β€’ Oversees a small technical team to accomplish technical milestones and contributes to the development of advanced rapid development software capabilities. β€’ Communicates technical progress, hurdles, proposed solutions, and team updates to Leadership. β€’ Research or publications in the CI/CD or AI software field are a strong plus but not required. β€’ Leads development, documentation and maintenance of standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software. Ability to lead and help junior engineers in accomplishing technical engineering activities. β€’ Familiar with automated testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g. PyTest) to ensure rapid and efficient test execution is a plus. β€’ Willingness to use AI Tools in CI/CD development required, familiarity is a plus but not required. β€’ Ability to collaborate effectively with HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop) teams to integrate software with hardware-in-the-loop testing environments. β€’ Excellent collaborator with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal, including a teamwork mindset, good communication skills, and a desire for fast-paced development. β€’ Develops, documents and maintains standardized, efficient, and innovative processes, tools, methodologies, and performance metrics to streamline the software engineering lifecycle and enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of safety critical software. β€’ Excellent collaborator with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal, including a teamwork mindset, good communication skills, and a desire for fast-paced development. β€’ Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes). β€’ Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet). β€’ Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, JUnit, PyTest). β€’ Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, ELK Stack). β€’ Experience with cloud platforms a plus but not needed (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP). β€’ Familiarity with artifact repositories (e.g. Nexus, Artifactory).
