DevSecOps Lead

Lead DevSecOps Engineer | AWS | Cloud Security | CI/CD Contract | £775 per day | Inside IR35 West London (2 days per week onsite) | Minimum 6 months We are recruiting a Lead DevSecOps Engineer for a large‑scale, highly regulated enterprise environment, operating at significant scale across AWS and multi‑cloud platforms. This is a lead‑level DevSecOps contract role, responsible for defining DevSecOps strategy, embedding security‑by‑design, and integrating automated security controls across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and the full SDLC. Key Skills & Experience Required • Proven experience as a Lead DevSecOps Engineer in regulated enterprise environments • Strong background delivering security‑by‑design across AWS and multi‑cloud architectures • Experience operating at scale within financial services, banking or similarly regulated industries • Ability to define and own DevSecOps strategy, standards and best practices • Hands‑on experience embedding automated security controls across: • CI/CD pipelines • Cloud platforms (AWS, multi‑cloud) • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) • Deep expertise in application security and mobile security • Strong vulnerability management experience • Proven ability to integrate security tooling into engineering workflows without impacting delivery velocity • Experience modernising legacy security and DevOps practices • Strong consulting and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence senior engineering, security and leadership teams • Comfortable leading and guiding multi‑disciplinary DevSecOps and engineering teams Contract Details • Role: Senior / Lead DevSecOps Engineer • Contract Length: Minimum 6 months • Rate: £775 per day • IR35 Status: Inside IR35 • Location: West London (2 days per week onsite)
