Role description
Logistics:
• On-site in Cambridge, MA
• 12-month contract
Must Haves:
• Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience in software engineering OR Master’s degree with 1+ year of experience.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
Plusses/Preferred:
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Experience with testing frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, PyTest).
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Familiarity with artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Education or experience in modern CI/CD techniques and/or AI tools.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: In this role, you will design, develop, and verify software products to ensure quality and reliability. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and test strategies, create test plans and scenarios, and configure environments to replicate production systems. Daily tasks include executing tests, identifying defects, and providing feedback to improve functionality and security. You will maintain documentation, develop automated test scripts, and manage project activities across multifunctional teams. Additionally, you’ll set up and maintain Hardware-In-the-Loop automation systems for avionics platforms and lead efforts to streamline CI/CD processes for safety-critical software.
Compensation:
$55/hr to $70/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
