Role description
We are seeking an experienced Analytics Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics and data solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and excited about building high-quality analytics solutions that empower business stakeholders. This role reports to Analytics Lead and will collaborate with other technical and business teams across the library.
Responsibilities:
β’ Lead and scale the Digital Analytics function, owning end-to-end delivery, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality, consistent execution.
β’ Define and drive technical architecture, guiding analytics implementation and establishing scalable solutions following best practices.
β’ Act as the primary client-facing analytics lead, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
β’ Build and grow the team, leading hiring, technical evaluation, and onboarding to support program expansion.
β’ Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines. Ensure data accuracy, validation, and governance standards.
β’ Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, and data models. Support ad-hoc data requests and analysis as needed.
β’ Create and maintain dashboards and reports for digital analytics and customer experience data aiming for reporting automation.
β’ Manage and maintain data tracking frameworks. Optimize implementation in accordance with new product developments.
β’ Conduct server log analysis to identify anomalies, performance issues, and potential data integrity concerns.
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
β’ Analyze and communicate generated insights on web analytics and customer experience data.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or 3+ years of experience in analytics development
β’ Advanced proficiency in SQL with strong understanding of relational database concepts, including data modeling, normalization, and complex SQL joins
β’ Experience working with cloud data platforms preferably BigQuery
β’ Experience working with web analytics data and implementing digital analytics tracking (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
β’ Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
β’ Experience with Python or other scripting languages
β’ Experience working with APIs and data integrations
β’ Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
β’ Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
β’ Ability to leverage AI or machine learning tools to enhance analytics
