Role description
Digital Analytics Specialist
We are seeking candidates for a Digital Analytics Specialist position with a leading healthcare organization based in New York, NY. This role will support the Marketing & Communications team by managing website analytics, search engine optimization (SEO), campaign performance measurement, and location management across the organization's primary web properties. The Digital Analytics Specialist will be responsible for delivering accurate reporting, identifying opportunities to optimize digital performance, and providing actionable insights that help drive data-informed marketing strategies. This is a hands-on role ideal for a self-directed professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a 6-month contract position offering $55–$60 per hour, depending on experience, based on a 40-hour workweek. This role is 100% remote but is strictly limited to candidates residing on the East Coast of the United States.
Responsibilities:
• Develop quarterly marketing performance reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
• Partner with Marketing & Communications teams to measure, analyze, and communicate the performance of digital marketing campaigns.
• Compile campaign metrics, project summaries, and performance data to demonstrate the impact of marketing initiatives.
• Build and maintain reporting webpages, email communications, and Tableau dashboards to support quarterly reporting.
• Coordinate the reporting review and approval process to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Monitor website performance across multiple web properties, identifying trends, optimization opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Configure and maintain campaign tracking frameworks, including custom events, UTM parameters, and measurement standards.
• Train internal stakeholders on analytics platforms, campaign tracking best practices, and UTM implementation.
• Deliver recurring reports, ad hoc analyses, and strategic recommendations to improve digital marketing performance.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards that visualize marketing performance and patient journey analytics.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of marketing data across multiple systems and databases.
• Create data visualizations that support campaign optimization, content strategy, and patient journey initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing data is accessible, reliable, and supports business decision-making.
• Establish and maintain standardized campaign tracking and reporting methodologies across the organization.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on digital analytics, campaign measurement, and reporting best practices.
• Improve organic search performance through keyword research, technical SEO, schema optimization, and ongoing search optimization initiatives.
• Support AI search optimization efforts (AEO/GEO) by optimizing content for AI-powered search experiences.
• Administer and maintain SEO platforms and digital analytics tools.
• Manage and optimize business location listings across digital platforms, ensuring accurate information, governance, and consistency.
???????Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics, web analytics, campaign reporting, and SEO.
• 1–2+ years of experience with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), or optimizing content for AI-powered search experiences (e.g., Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude).
• Experience within healthcare, an agency, or another highly regulated industry is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Piwik, or similar web analytics platforms.
• Experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush.
• Familiarity with Yext or similar location management platforms.
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau; experience with Looker or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong understanding of campaign tracking methodologies, UTM parameters, and digital measurement best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data visualization skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
