Role: 2x Digital Assets (Java Trading) Location: Jersey City, NJ (2 weeks Onsite per Month) Interview Process: 1st Round: Virtual (45 min) & 2nd Round: Onsite (2 hours) in Jersey City, NJ • Candidates must: Have an IDE/editor ready - Be able to share their screen during both rounds Key Requirements: We are looking for strong backend Java engineers with experience building low-latency, high-concurrency, high-throughput systems. Candidates must have a background in financial services (trading or order management exp.) and deep expertise in performance tuning, memory optimization (GC), and multithreading. Must-Have Skills • Experience in low-latency Java development • Background in Financial Services (Trading or Order Management preferred) • Strong expertise in performance and memory optimization (including Garbage Collection) • Advanced knowledge of threading and multithreading • Backend-focused role (no UI work): microservices and API development • Strong focus on Java + Spring Boot (primary requirement) • AWS experience is preferred but not mandatory • Proven ability to build high-concurrency, high-throughput systems • Strong hands-on Java skills (assessment will be intensive) Note: Domain experience is important. Candidates without trading experience must have worked on systems with similar high-performance requirements. Core Experience & Skills You should have Min 10+ years of experience developing scalable software solutions, particularly in financial or trading systems, along with strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Additional experience with tools and technologies like Maven/Ant, Nexus, Git/Jenkins, NPM, and big data technologies such as KDB/Q is highly preferred.
