Digital Business Analyst β Contract Role
Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Digital Business Analyst to support key digital transformation initiatives. This contract role will focus on user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and daily operations across our Email Service Provider, Customer Data Platform (CDP), and website platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead UAT efforts for Marketing Cloud migration, CDP integration, and website redesign.
β’ Validate data flows, segmentation logic, and dynamic content across digital platforms.
β’ Manage regulatory review processes for website content and ensure compliance.
β’ Monitor and troubleshoot campaign execution, website performance, and data activation workflows.
β’ Create digital content (emails, banners, IVAs, web pages) using in-house tools.
β’ Orchestrate customer journeys in the CDP, including targeting, testing, and reporting.
β’ Ensure accurate end-to-end data flow across online forms, CDP, Marketing Cloud, and reporting systems.
β’ Act as a liaison between business, IT, marketing, and compliance teams.
Qualifications:
β’ Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing technology or related fields.
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent professional experience.
β’ Strong understanding of marketing automation, data integration, and analytics.
β’ Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
β’ Potential for conversion to a permanent role based on performance and team needs.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Marketing Cloud Migration & CDP
β’ Develop and execute UAT test cases for Marketing Cloud migration, ensuring proper integration with the CDP.
β’ Validate data flows, segmentation, personalization, and dynamic content within Marketing Cloud.
β’ Work with business stakeholders to gather test requirements and define acceptance criteria.
β’ Identify and document defects, working with development teams to resolve issues.
β’ Ensure seamless data synchronization between CDP and downstream marketing activation channels.
β’ Provide feedback on audience segmentation logic and recommend improvements.
User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Website Redesign
β’ Ensure proper tagging and tracking for analytics and customer data capture.
β’ Validate content accuracy, SEO metadata, and regulatory compliance.
β’ Conduct cross-browser and device testing.
β’ Log and track defects, collaborating with developers and designers for resolution.
Regulatory Review Process for Website Content
β’ Manage submission of website content updates through the regulatory review process.
β’ Track content approvals and ensure timely publication of approved materials.
β’ Work with legal, compliance, and medical teams to address feedback and revisions.
β’ Ensure all website content meets internal and external regulatory requirements.
Daily Run Activities for Marketing Cloud & CDP
β’ Monitor campaign execution and resolve any delivery or performance issues.
β’ Support audience segmentation and data activation for marketing campaigns.
β’ Troubleshoot data ingestion, processing, and activation workflows.
β’ Document and escalate recurring issues, recommending process improvements
Daily Run Activities for Website
β’ Ensure timely updates of approved content.
β’ Monitor website performance, identifying and escalating any technical issues.
β’ Validate website tracking and analytics for proper data capture.
β’ Assist with troubleshooting and resolving content publishing errors.
β’ Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth content deployment.
Content Creation and Customer Journey Orchestration
β’ Use existing brand content to create emails, banners, IVAs, and web pages utilizing in house design tools.
β’ Work with brand teams to create digital customer journeys within our CDP tool. Includes audience targeting and segmentation, brand validation, testing, execution, and reporting/follow up.
Data Flow & Integration Validation
β’ Ensure end-to-end data flow accuracy between the online application form, CDP, Marketing Cloud, and reporting systems.
β’ Verify that user data is captured, transformed, and activated correctly across all touchpoints.
General Coordination & Communication
β’ Serve as a bridge between business, IT, marketing, and compliance teams.
β’ Provide regular status updates and UAT results to stakeholders.
β’ Document and track project milestones, risks, and dependencies.
β’ Support training and knowledge transfer for end users on new marketing, website, and application form functionalities.
