Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior R/Python Developer with strong expertise in Posit (RStudio), Snowflake, and advanced analytics to design, develop, and deploy scalable data-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in statistical modeling, data engineering, and analytics, with the ability to work across large datasets in cloud-based environments. This role involves close collaboration with data scientists, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact analytical solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design and develop analytical solutions using R and Python for complex business problems
• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and workflows leveraging Snowflake
• Develop and deploy models using Posit (RStudio) and integrate them into production environments
• Perform advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining
• Write efficient, scalable code for large-scale data processing and analytics
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to design robust data models and architectures
• Optimize query performance and data storage strategies in Snowflake
• Develop reusable components, libraries, and frameworks for analytics use cases
• Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot performance or data-related issues
Required Skills:
• Strong programming expertise in R and Python (must-have)
• Hands-on experience with Posit (RStudio) for development and deployment
• Solid experience with Snowflake (data warehousing, performance tuning, SQL optimization)
• Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and predictive analytics
• Strong SQL skills with experience handling large datasets
• Experience building and optimizing ETL/data pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., ggplot2, matplotlib, Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
