We are seeking a skilled Security Analyst / Cloud Security Engineer to support our security operations and monitoring initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft security tools, scripting, and the development of monitoring use cases. You will play a key role in analyzing security events, collaborating with teams for remediation, and optimizing security monitoring processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and tune security monitoring use cases across Microsoft security suite tools such as Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Purview.
Write and maintain scripts for automation, analysis, and monitoring purposes.
Conduct detailed analysis and review of security events and alerts to ensure accurate detection.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for remediation engagements and security improvements.
Continuously review and optimize monitoring rules and use cases to improve detection accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain documentation of security processes, monitoring workflows, and tuning activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with the Microsoft security suite: Defender, Purview, and related tools.
Proficiency in Kusto Query Language (KQL) for advanced data queries.
Scripting skills for automation and monitoring (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
Experience in developing, reviewing, and tuning security monitoring use cases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to collaborate effectively across teams for remediation and security initiatives.
Good communication skills to convey findings and recommendations.
