Job Title: Technical Documentation Control Analyst IJob Description The Technical Documentation Control Analyst I is responsible for ensuring data integrity for service parts catalogs and downstream systems in collaboration with Aftermarket and Engineering departments. This role serves as a data steward, acting as a liaison between internal and external customers to maintain data quality. Responsibilities • Serve as the primary point of responsibility and accountability for assessing, improving, and governing the quality and ongoing fitness-for-purpose of critical data assets. • Act as a trustee to ensure adequate data quality is maintained to support business processes effectively. • Engage with business leadership to quantify and articulate the business impact of data quality issues. • Assess the current state of data quality within the scope of responsibility. • Establish target goals for data quality improvement and identify optimal approaches for resolving data quality issues to achieve targets. • Implement improvement approaches within and beyond the area of control. • Identify data quality metrics and execute data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality. • Develop, monitor, track, and report ongoing data quality levels. Essential Skills • BS/BA degree or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. • Experience with IMS and Excelerator. • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel with filters, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables. • Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to lead projects or processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Previous knowledge of DTNA is preferred. • Familiarity with SAP, Paragon, and PartsPro systems. • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive or truck parts. • Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Capability to multitask and reprioritize quickly in urgent situations. Work Environment This role is detail-intensive and mentally engaging, with a focus on working with part numbers, reviewing engineering drawings, documenting bills of material, and navigating Paragon and PartsPro systems. The work environment is collaborative, with regular interaction across warranty, engineering, and other internal teams. The position follows a hybrid schedule, with one day per week remote and the remainder onsite at the Portland HQ.
