We are looking for Cloud Security Reporting Analyst - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Cary, NC Job Title: Cloud Security Reporting Analyst - Remote / Telecommute

Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scripts to extract data from cloud security tools via APIs and transform it into consumable datasets.
- Build automated ETL pipelines using Excel, Power Query, or similar tools.
- Create dashboards and visual analytics using Power BI to present cloud security posture, risk trends, and compliance insights.
- Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports highlighting vulnerabilities, remediation progress, and key risk indicators.
- Deliver monthly cloud vulnerability and security posture reports for business units.
- Prepare quarterly State of Cloud Security presentations.
- Define and refine Cloud Security KPIs and KRIs.
- Develop methodologies to track remediation progress and benchmark business performance.
- Report on compliance framework pass/fail rates across business units.
- Interpret and communicate security data, risks, and business impact to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build and manage relational data models within Power BI for scalable reporting.
- Identify automation and advanced analytics opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Operate within Agile frameworks using Jira to manage sprints, epics, and deliverables.
- Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively to leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and cloud-native security controls.
- Strong understanding of cloud security concepts, compliance frameworks, and best practices.
- Proven experience delivering cloud security reporting and posture assessments at scale.
- Experience defining and implementing security KPIs and KRIs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, including relational dataset modeling.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power Query, and data workflow automation.
- Experience with cloud security platforms such as CSPM, CWP, and CNAPP, including Wiz.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, AZ-500, or Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
