Job Title: Drupal Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Contract Job Description: • We are seeking an experienced Drupal Tech Lead to join our development team. As a key technical leader, you will oversee the architecture, development, and implementation of Drupal-based web solutions. You will guide a team of developers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, meet the highest technical standards, and align with the business objectives. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure Drupal solutions. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex Drupal 8/9 websites, including custom module development, theming, and third-party API integrations. • Architect and implement scalable and secure web solutions, focusing on performance optimization, SEO best practices, and mobile responsiveness. • Oversee code reviews, manage Git workflows, and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices across the team. • Collaborate with project managers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical deliverables. • Mentor junior developers, foster knowledge sharing, and guide the team on adopting new technologies and best practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical issues. • Stay up-to-date with Drupal community updates, contributing to and leveraging open-source modules and tools. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. • 8+ years of experience in Drupal development, with a focus on Drupal 8/9 and custom module development. • Proven experience in leading Drupal development teams and managing full project life cycles. • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. • Familiarity with Git for version control, Docker for containerization, and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment. • Experience with third-party API integrations (REST, SOAP) and headless Drupal architecture. • Strong understanding of SEO, performance optimization techniques, and security best practices. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Experience working in an Agile environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously
