Role description
We are seeking a skilled Duck Creek Skins Developer with strong expertise in CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and the Duck Creek Author platform to build, customize, and optimize UI/UX components across Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and Claims applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing skins, themes, and UI assets within the Duck Creek ecosystem and understands insurance product configuration workflows.
Key Responsibilities
UI / Skins Development
β’ Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek skins using CSS, JavaScript, HTML, and Duck Creek UI configuration tools
β’ Customize the look and feel of Duck Creek applications to align with corporate branding guidelines
β’ Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility
Duck Creek Author Configuration
β’ Work within Duck Creek Author to configure page layouts, templates, styles, and UI behaviors
β’ Collaborate with product configuration teams to ensure UI aligns with rating structures, forms, and product requirements
β’ Build and maintain UI components for Policy, Billing, or Claims modules
Performance & Quality
β’ Optimize front-end performance, accessibility, and user experience
β’ Conduct UI testing and validation to ensure stable deployments
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve UI defects across environments
Collaboration & Delivery
β’ Work closely with functional analysts, architects, QA testers, and business stakeholders
β’ Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and reviews
β’ Support deployment, release activities, and documentation
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $38.27/hour - $59.80/hour. Our offered benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
