Role description
We are seeking a Lead Officer and Technical Expert to take ownership of the development, implementation, and management of Microsoft 365 services, with a specific focus on Dynamics 365 and PowerApps. This is a pivotal role in driving innovation and efficiency across the organisation, ensuring these strategic platforms deliver maximum value.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the technical lead for Dynamics 365 and PowerApps, providing expert advice and guidance to business areas.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions aligned with organisational goals.
• Provide day-to-day support for Dynamics 365 and PowerApps, while identifying opportunities for enhancement.
• Lead development work for new projects and manage external resources where required.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members to build internal expertise.
• Manage release and deployment processes, upgrades, patching, and change requests.
• Maintain technical documentation, programming standards, and operational procedures.
• Monitor licences, permissions, and security roles; ensure compliance with data retention policies.
• Analyse service logs for security anomalies and manage resolution of issues with Microsoft.
• Uphold compliance with relevant legislation and organisational policies.
Technical Skills & Experience
• Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365/CRM and PowerApps, including Customer Insights.
• Proven ability to resolve complex technical issues and deliver solutions.
• Experience in Dynamics 365 / PowerApps development and permissions management.
• Proficiency in C#, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft O365 services:
• Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI)
• SharePoint Online
• Customer Voice
• OneDrive for Business
• Microsoft Teams
• Knowledge of Azure AD, Hybrid AD, Azure B2B, and automation (bonus).
• Understanding of MS licensing and SharePoint technologies (Office 365 and legacy versions).
• Experience with PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and GitHub (desirable).
