Role description
Dynamics 365 Solution SME (CRM/Power Platform) Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 months Role Summary Lead stakeholder discussions and solution design across the Dynamics 365 ecosystem. Architect scalable, secure CRM solutions, drive governance and adoption, and integrate Dynamics 365 with Power Platform, Azure, and third-party systems to deliver measurable business value. Key Responsibilities • Run workshops with business & IT to capture requirements, define scope, and align to roadmap. • Design end-to-end Dynamics 365 (Sales/Service) architectures and integration patterns. • Build/configure apps, flows, plugins, custom workflows, and reports (Power Apps/Automate/Dataverse, Power BI). • Define and enforce governance, security, and compliance (environments, DLP, roles). • Lead integrations with Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions) and external apps/APIs. • Deliver new business apps and cross-product integrations; own documentation and architecture diagrams. • Mentor application SMEs; support incidents/changes within SLAs; champion user adoption and change management. Must-Have Skills • Deep, hands-on expertise with Dynamics 365 (CE) and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse). • Proven CRM solution architecture, customization, and ALM (Azure DevOps, pipelines, Git). • Strong integration experience: REST/JSON, webhooks, Azure Integration Services, SSO/Entra ID. • Governance/security best practices; data modeling, migration, and reporting (Power BI). • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills. Nice-to-Have • Experience with Field Service/Marketing, Power Pages, Azure Functions, Service Bus. • Establishing/leading a Power Platform CoE; DLP policies and environment strategy. • Certifications: PL-600, PL-400, PL-200, MB-210/MB-230.
