Dynamics SL Consultant

Dynamics SL Specialist Overview: I am supporting my client in a search for a Dynamics SL Consultant who will manage, customize, and support the Microsoft Dynamics SL ERP system to align with the client’s financial, operational, and compliance requirements in the energy industry. This role ensures system stability, process automation, and integration with other enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities • System Administration & Support: Maintain and optimize Dynamics SL modules (Finance, Project Accounting, Supply Chain) to support energy operations. • Customization & Configuration: Implement enhancements, manage upgrades, and configure workflows to meet business needs. • Integration Management: Oversee integrations with third-party applications, including field service and energy trading systems. • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain reports using SSRS, Crystal Reports, and SQL queries for operational and financial insights. • User Training & Documentation: Provide training sessions, create user guides, and ensure adherence to best practices. • Compliance & Security: Ensure SOX compliance and enforce internal controls for financial data integrity. • Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Operations, and IT teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field. • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) in an enterprise environment. • Strong knowledge of energy sector processes (e.g., project costing, asset management, regulatory compliance). • Proficiency in SQL Server, SSRS, and integration tools. • Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization tools is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with energy ERP workflows and reporting requirements. • Knowledge of EDI/API integrations for energy trading or supply chain systems. • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics SL or related technologies.
