This role involves leading a global SCRUM team to translate complex engineering problems into actionable, test-ready requirements and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead a SCRUM team as the Product Analyst focusing on engineering tools integration and optimization across CAx domains (ECAD, MCAD, Simulation, Visualization).
β’ Drive work from high-level engineering problem statements to detailed user stories, features, defects, and enablers.
β’ Facilitate complex, cross-functional discussions to align stakeholders on tradeoffs involving cost, usability, compliance, and architectural fit.
β’ Translate engineering challenges and opportunities into clear technical artifacts such as process flows, interface contracts, data mappings, and mockups.
β’ Evaluate technical feasibility and architectural alignment of proposed solutions in collaboration with Lead Engineers, Product Owners/Managers, and Software Engineers.
β’ Perform fit-gap analysis between current-state and target-state tools, integrations, and workflows.
β’ Lead a globally distributed squad by defining scope, setting priorities, and communicating roadmap and vision for Engineering Solutions.
β’ Partner with Product and Platform Managers to align delivery with platform strategy and engineering value.
β’ Manage backlog priorities, reconcile competing stakeholder demands, and ensure alignment with business and technical goals.
β’ Educate cross-functional partners on CAx capabilities, integrations, and system constraints to promote better adoption and clarity.
β’ Drive incident resolution and root-cause analysis for production issues impacting engineering productivity.
β’ Identify and manage dependencies across squads, platforms, and external programs in partnership with Technical Product Owners and other Product Analysts.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
β’ 10+ years of experience in Product Analysis, Business Analysis, or IT Product Leadership roles within engineering or manufacturing domains.
β’ Strong background in ECAD/MCAD/PLM systems (e.g., PTC Windchill, Dassault, Siemens, Autodesk, or Mentor tools).
β’ Expertise in agile methodologies and experience leading SCRUM teams.
β’ Proven ability to translate engineering requirements into functional and technical documentation.
β’ Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Experience with data integration, API/interface design, and workflow optimization in Engineering IT systems.
