Summary
The main function of the Data Analyst is to provide business intelligence support and supporting areas by means of both repeatable and ad hoc reporting delivery reports (charts, graphs, tables, etc) that enable informed business decisions.
Job Responsibilities
Analyzes performance of process activities, identifies problem areas, and presents findings in clear, concise charts, graphs, tables, or summaries.
Establishes standardized methods of recording, tracking and reporting on activity.
Design, implement, automate and maintain large scale enterprise data ETL processes.
Modify existing databases and database management systems and/or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
Conducts research on emerging products, services, approaches, and techniques in the area of data analysis.
Skills
Strong interpersonal and consultative skills to translate and understand reporting requirements.
Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction.
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of one or more key information service standards such as SDLC, ITIL, QA/testing, Project Management, Six Sigma, etc.
Strong PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
8-10 Years Of Experience Required.
Process certification, such as, Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, CMMI.

As the Ecommerce Product analyst, you will be the part of ecommerce front end product team for helping optimize our digital product toolkit including samsung.com and Samsung Shop App, creating unique, personalized web experiences for our customers and supporting existing product launches by contributing through our internal enterprise data and analytics capabilities. Youβll be deep diving into datasets and monitoring performance to understand our customer behavior, identifying and sharing insights with the team, and proposing new digital products and optimizations

Day-to-day, You Will
β’ Track and identify underlying drivers of KPI targets & metrics, synthesize findings and communicate insights
β’ Manage digital product performance to identify new product levers and opportunities for improvement of our existing product toolkit
β’ Ad hoc analyses and tasks to support personalization initiatives and product launches
β’ Collaborate with Product Manager(s) in making product and business decisions based on data insights and A/B testing experiment results
β’ Manage A/B Testing monitoring and analyses and execute strategy
β’ Analyze the impact of proposed and actual product changes Assist PM's in delivering product enhancements as defined by the Product Managerβs Roadmap
β’ Develop, manage and maintain backend product data pipelines
β’ Own and execute ad hoc and long-term strategic projects
Your Skillset Likely Includes
β’ 3-6 yearsβ experience in a large IT organization with responsibility and demonstrated success for developing Data and Analytics products or services
β’ BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
β’ Visualization tools such as Power BI ,Tableu and Microstrategy
β’ Good knowledge of metadata, and using/managing metadata
β’ Excellent communication skills and can confidently communicate to all levels of the business from operational to executive
β’ Experience working with cross functional teams to develop products and services. Ability to build interdepartmental relationships
β’ Desire to make a difference, engage customers, shape a strategy and build the right solution
β’ Exceptional critical reasoning, creative thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to lay out edge cases, identify dependencies and lay out the if/then in any scenario
β’ Familiarity with the identification and resolution of issues working with disparate sources of data and data quality issues
β’ Ability to dig into the fine details of projects but also articulate product strategy and vision
β’ Experience working with web, mobile logs and transaction systems
β’ Experience with data analysis, experimentation and measurement tools like Google Analytics, Adobe analytics or homebuilt systems
β’ Working experience building integrations between different products
β’ Ability to research and contribute (from a PM perspective) on API development
β’ Working SQL and database design knowledge
